Along with brighter and safer streets, wondrous new inventions appeared in people's homes, farms, and businesses across Woodstock.

With the flip of a switch, the lights would come on. There was no need to fill the lamps, trim the wicks, and wash the globes. Electricity provided greater ease in life.

When a farm, a home, or a business installed electricity, their world opened to entirely new possibilities.
Electricity being provided to Woodstock and other small towns across America was a turning point to a brighter future.
